Eurobodalla residents interested in seeing concept designs for a new roundabout on George Bass Drive at Tomakin are invited to a community drop-in session next month.
Federal Gilmore MP Ann Sudmalis last week announced $3.5 million for the George Bass Drive and Tomakin Road intersection under the Australian Government’s Building Our Future program.
A new roundabout will improve road and pedestrian safety, increase traffic efficiency and reduce congestion. It will connect to Sunpatch Parade and include paths, pedestrian crossing points and extra lighting.
Council is holding a drop-in session to give interested residents the opportunity to see concept designs of the roundabout and ask any questions about the project.
The session will be held Wednesday 2 May at the Tomakin Hall on Ainslie Parade.
Attendees can drop in at any time between 5pm and 6.30pm and no RSVP is required.
More information will be updated on the Project Page on Council’s website http://www.esc.nsw.gov.au/inside-council/project-and-exhibitions/major-projects-and-works/tomakin-roundabout as the project progresses.
