Bodalla Rural Fire Brigade will be conducting a hazard reduction burn April 27th


PUBLIC NOTICE: Bodalla Rural Fire Brigade along with Potato Point Rural Fire Brigade, Tuross Head Rural Fire Brigade, Dalmeny-Kianga Rural Fire Brigade and other locale crews will be conducting a Hazard Reduction at Gannons Point Road Bodalla on Friday 27th April 2018 - Keep all windows & doors closed to prevent smoke entering homes. - Keep outdoor furniture under cover to prevent ember burns. - Retract pool covers to prevent ember damage. - Remove washing from clotheslines. - Ensure pets have a protected area, as they may get scared or restless from the smell of unfamiliar smoke. - If you are driving a vehicle, slow down, keep windows up and turn headlights on. - If you're an asthmatic avoid going outside, if shortness of breathing occurs or coughing develops, take your reliever medicine or seek medical advice.
