Averial Cox of Tuross Head won the Club Singles recently in a hard fought game against Sue Fahey in the finals. Averial, who was also a ladies golf champion in past years has progressed beautifully with her bowls, demonstrating a consistent ability at good “draw bowls ” to win the crown of the bowls calendar, The Singles Championship.
Averial will be a very valuable member of the Tuross Head Pennant 1 side, who will venture to Cooma on Tuesday 15th May to play against Adaminaby in the Regional finals. We wish her and the team much success and hope they will win this event to enable them to play at the State play offs later in the year.
