The north Caseys Beach playground car park on Beach Road, Batemans Bay, will be closed for two weeks from Monday (30 April) to allow Eurobodalla Council to install new underground infrastructure.
Council will upgrade the water line to the toilets and install new electrical conduit.
The electrical line will power new dual-electric barbecues and motion-activated lights in the nearby toilet block. Existing overhead powerlines in the car park will be removed.
Residents and visitors will still have access to the playground, barbecues, toilets and nearby picnic setting while the work is underway, however access to the main car park will be closed. Work is expected to be complete by Friday 11 May, weather permitting.
