Sunsuper's Dreams for a Better World Eurobodalla's Southcoast Health and Sustainability Alliance (SHASA) is one of six organisations that have been short listed for the chance to share in $150,000 in grants from Sunsuper’s Dreams for a Better World. SHASA want to install solar on social housing in Moruya and are calling on the Eurobodalla community to vote for its project to secure much needed funding. SHASA's dream is to end energy poverty with free power from the sun. SHASA wants to install 40kw of solar on social housing in Moruya. This will generate $18,688 in annual savings on electricity bills for very low income households in Moruya. It will enable these households to redirect scarce funds to other living costs and to improve their comfort levels as the climate becomes more hostile. SHASA asks residents of the Eurobodalla to please vote for the SHASA project “Ending energy poverty with free power from the sun” by visiting dreamsforabetterworld.com.au/vote. Voting closes on 8 th May 2018. SHASA needs as many votes as possible to secure this much needed funding for solar for social housing. At the moment they have 44 votes while the top three have 1356, 277 and 276 votes.
