BATEMANS BAY
A 34 year old man has been detected driving while disqualified by Batemans Bay Highway Patrol police on Sunday 29 April 2018.
Police stopped a Subaru on George Bass Drive, Malua Bay for a random breath test at 2:35pm.
Checks revealed the driver was disqualified until 2044.
He was issued a field court attendance notice to attend Batemans Bay Local Court on 28 May 2018.
MORUYA
About 10:00am on Sunday 29 April 2018, a Mitsubishi Lancer driven by a 38 year old man was stopped by police near the intersection of the Princes Hwy and Ford Street, Moruya for the purpose of a random breath and drug test.
He failed the oral fluid test, with a positive detection to cannabis.
He was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station for a secondary test.
He was issued a 24 hour driving prohibition notice.
Legal action is subject to laboratory results.
MORUYA
Sometime between Tuesday 24 April 2018 and Sunday morning 29 April 2018 a break and enter has occurred at the Moruya Speedway, Donnelly Drive.
Several items have been stolen including two way portable radios, cans of soft drink, trophies and arm bands.
Access has been gained by forcing a door open.
Moruya Police are investigating.
