League Narooma: THE BOYS HAVE DONE IT at Ack Weyman Oval, Moruya against Moruya 2/2 for the Devs! Reserves won 38 to 28 and First Grade won 19-18 with a field goal to Clydey Parsons. Batemans Bay The Batemans Bay Tigers played their games last Saturday with mixed success. The Reserves played like a very confident and well drilled team and came away with a very convincing win. The team are performing well under new coach Troy Cook and are being led around the field by captain Dot Stewart. The First grade team played in nearly all weather conditions barring the snow and were only just beaten in the final 2 minutes. The score was Bombala 10 to Batemans Bay 8. Player of the day was Michael Tadich in a very hard dire match.Brent Pann has made a solid contribution to the club after a season or two away. Peter Letts led the forward pack and Brodie Ralph Sean Connell are benefitting immensely from his experience.A few minor injuries to some players limited the interchange possibilities but hopefully they will back up next weekend at home again next weekend. *******League news - Reserve Grade Draw has changedIf you aren’t aware already our Reserve Grade Draw has changed. See below for the new reserve v2 draw AFL Tough day at the office for the Broulee Moruya Australian Football Club U16s against Pambula, going down 13-5 83 to 3-2-20. Undermanned due to some availability and a couple of no shows the assignment was always going to be a difficult one. Overall the team put up a good effort for its first hit out with some first time players and a good number of U14s helping out. Honourable mentions could go to pretty much everyone who played, no one shirked it and there was a good team spirit throughout the game. The scoreline didn't reflect the effort, the result of a few very good Pambula lads getting a run on in a couple of places, it should have new closer and with our full side in we will more than match them. Best on ground honours were difficult to pick, with better games by Dylan Golden, James Cashin, Declan Cursio and Billy Williams
Broulee Moruya Australian Football Club DG (Reserves) WRAP UP!

It was one of those days for the Giants where getting a kick in open play was hard to come by, and with a 68 point lead to Pambula at half-time and with the Giants yet to even register a score, you could almost forgive the boys looking for the exit to the TOP PUB.🍻
But to everyone's credit, they kept their heads up & worked hard on trying to shut down what was a mostly dominant display by last year's premiers. Although the final margin was 86 points, the second half did reflect an improved effort.👌
Players that toiled hard all day - Dunny, Ash, Adam, Wisey, Deks & Jado. A special mention must go to the "South African Steamroller" HuHugo du ToitI know he looks & sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger but l'm almost certain l heard him yell "quick, get to the chopper" when he took out half of the Pambula players in a forward rampage from half back.😆
Welcome also to BMG 1st gamer Kim Reid.
A disappointing day at ADFA Oval for the Batemans Bay Seahawks with both grades going down in heavy loses to the ADFA Rams. Both teams battled hard but struggled to gain any momentum or find a way through the very well structured and well drilled ADFA teams. Our boys will regroup this week and look forward to bouncing back in their first home game for the year against Cootamundra in Firsts and Yass in the Ressies! Also have a look through our photo gallery of yesterday’s game, thanks so much to Kylie for the photos!! Go Seahawks 🦅
