Cash, drugs seized during Moruya vehicle stop


A man will face court on drug offences tomorrow after his car was stopped at Moruya, in southern NSW.

About 3.20pm today (Thursday 3 May 2018), a vehicle being driven by a 44-year-old Tumut man was stopped on the Princes Highway at Moruya.

A search of the vehicle found a quantity of cannabis and cash.

The man was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.

He was charged with supplying prohibited drug greater than indictable quantity (cannabis) and dealing with property proceeds of crime.

The man was refused bail and will appear in Batemans Bay Local Court tomorrow (Friday 4 May 2018). NSW Police Report
