Tuross Head Floral Art and Garden Group news

Tuross Head Floral Art and Garden Group held a very successful meeting at Kyla Hall on Saturday 5th May.

Our guest speaker Kyle Levier gave a very informative, lively and enjoyable talk on his philosophy and experience growing vegetables that are nutritionally good and grown free from chemicals, insecticides or fungicides. Kyle has adopted biodynamic principles including micro organics such as composting and green mulching to build the fertility and increase the vitality of the soil. The talk was of great interest to members who asked many questions about how the principles might work in their own gardens in Tuross.

The next meeting will be held at Kyla Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday 2nd June with guest speaker Peter McGann from Mogo Village Honey.

Enquiries to Ann Pass tel. 44739023.
