Introducing the Stars of Eurobodalla: Duncan McLauglin

Over coming weeks we will be introducing you to the fantastic Stars of Eurobodalla who raising donations and will be Dancing for Cancer at the Tomakin Sports and Social Club on 21 July 2018.

Meet our star pair Duncan McLauglin dancing with the professional Charmaine Brereton! When Duncan is able to break free from duties as a personal assistant to five nagging horses and a badly-behaved Jack Russel, he works as a reporter for the Eurobodalla's Fairfax papers. Duncan works part time for the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner and signed up for the competition despite not being able to dance to save himself because he believes “Nearly everyone is touched by cancer, directly or indirectly and 'Stars' is such a positive way to help support those in need and those working on finding a cure”. Duncan says his poor dance partner Charmaine has quite a task to get him dancing in time, but hopes to put on a “bit of show and raise a bunch of dough” for this excellent cause. Charmaine is looking forward to being a part of this event again and showcasing pole dancing. “I’m really looking forward to it and have had amazing fun training stars for this cause and can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned this year.” It will be her third time being involved in the event and is tribute to her mum, as she wants to help give back to help the people who helped her mum [the Cancer Council].
