Construction will begin this week on new water and sewer infrastructure at Preddeys Wharf, Moruya.
The work will connect existing water and sewer mains to the Moruya Airport precinct.
Car parking at Preddeys Wharf will be significantly reduced during the works, particularly for long vehicles and those with trailers. Vehicle turning space will also be limited.
Users will still be able to access the boat ramp and floating jetty however the public toilets will be closed during the works.
Nearby residents might experience noise disruption and traffic delays while construction is underway.
Council staff have door-knocked and written to nearby residents to inform them of the works, which are expected to take up to four months to complete.
Traffic control measures will be in place and motorists and pedestrians are asked to take care when in the vicinity.
The work is being undertaken by Council’s contractor RD Miller Pty Ltd.
