Soft drinks and water will also be on sale during the day. Volunteers are busy collecting items to be auctioned off and are getting a good response from local businesses, a big thank you to everyone for their generosity.

On Sunday 1st July the Lions Club is holding a golf day at the Catalina Golf Club, the funds raised are going to help the Auxiliary towards the purchase of 4 theatre trolleys. Golfers please jot this in your diary to help such a worthy cause.

Reminders for your diary – Wednesday 8th August our popular Soup and Dessert Day and Saturday 10th November the Handmade Market Day are on again.

The new hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday for the Kiosk at the Hospital is working well but we still need helpers, if you are interested doing a few hours helping out contact Jeannette on 0439028615 or Ann on 040896436, the takings for April was $942.45 of which $92 worth of craft was sold.

Talking of craft if anyone has 8 ply wool they no longer want and wondering what to do with it the Auxiliary would be grateful for the donation as a lot of our knitters knit up squares which are then made into blankets some of which are sold but a lot of them go to the dementia and frail patients who then take the blanket with them when they leave hospital. You can drop it in to our Craft Group on a Tuesday morning between 9.30am and 11.30am in the Conference Room or drop it off at the kiosk when it is open.
