Narooma shark net will be removed from the water on Tuesday 5 June for annual maintenance.
The net is affected by wear and tear caused by ocean swell, and while a lot of repairs were completed throughout the year, major repairs now require its removal.
Work will include replacing the bottom chain and floats along the top of the rope, repairing anchor points and repairing the net stitching.
Residents are asked to avoid the area of the day of removal, Tuesday 5 June.
The net will be reinstalled in mid-September 2018.
