Ann Sudmalis MP, Federal Member for Gilmore visited Tuross Head yesterday calling in to the Men's Shed in the morning to then hold her village meeting at the Boatshed where residents were able to bring their concerns and issues.
It was then on to the Kyla Hall to attend the monthly meeting of the Tuross Head Progress Association recognising that the Association has been the local community watchdog and driving force for over 50 years.
Ann spoke at length on local and national issues and fielded a string of questions from the floor capably answer most to the satisfaction of the 60 present.
Ann said "It was a pleasure to discuss the many key interests that matter most to the people that call this beautiful part of Gilmore home."
Stopping for a scone and tea that followed Ann was able to take with her several other issues of local concern from refugees to the NBN.
