'La Galette' is in the refurbished Pam's Store building and is open from 9am - 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 9am - 2pm on Sundays (closed on Mondays). 'La Galette' is all is about Galettes which are gluten free buckwheat flour savoury crepes made in Brittany, France. Patricia also makes sweet crepes, cakes, homemade butter.

She sources her coffee from Alfred & Co, her milk & cream from the factory in Central Tilba and her eggs and veggies from different local farms. In all very local produce of exceptional quality.

Patricia went to Brittany to do her certificate of crepe & galette making and to add some typical French cakes like Far Breton to her repertoire as well which is baked custard with prunes.

Moving from France 15 years ago she has now been in Australia for seven years and has wanted to open her own café and restaurant. Patricia says “Finally my dream comes true with a very good opportunity to open my café in Tilba Tilba “

The menu features Patricia's famous crepes and galettes, Welsh cakes (with homemade butter!), Far Breton and Melted French Chocolate Cake with double cream. The restaurant opening times and menus will be announced soon.

Tilba Tilba now offers visitors two great new businesses to enjoy (with theTilba Nursery located just behind 'La Galette') and is definitely worth a visit on your next Tilba trip. #canberratothecoast #beautifultilba - images by Silverdory Productions
