Hope House and Katungal have joined forces to enhance NAIDOC Week in Batemans Bay.
The Residents and staff from Hope House will be attending Katungal on Monday July 9th and a day in Nowra to learn more about the Indigenous culture.
On Friday July 6th Loretta from Katungal will be at Hope House to set the scene with story telling. The big day is Thursday July 12th when Loretta will be at Hope House to teach the residents and staff the finer points of indigenous art followed by a community lunch with damper and kangaroo stew on the menu.
Hope House Manager Shirley Diskon says this is further evidence of the growth of Hope House and the desire of the residents to be a part of the broader community.
