Tuross Head Country Club men's golf par competition, held on Saturday, was won by Brendan Taylor with a score of plus 2 with Steve Johnston filling second placing with a score of plus 1.
Michael Mitchell, Kane Duncan and Reginald Apps, who all recorded even cards, took out the remaining awards.
Nearest the pins were won by:
A grade golfer Aaron Monopoli on the 4th hole with 1.4 m.
Ian McManus was best on the 6th with 2.36 m and
Ian Lawson won the 7th hole with 10 m.
B grade best was Greg Ware on the 4th hole with 3.14 m and
Frank Pomfret was closest on the 6th with 4.55 m.
Roger Chappell was best on the 4th with 8.61 m in C grade and
Steve Johnston won the 6th hole with 3.38 m.
Golfers were able to use the new concrete pathway on the 2nd hole and it was appreciated how by much this additional feature adds to the attraction of the course.
Thursday's medal stableford round was won by Peter Nikolic with 40 points, ahead of Paul Israel and Ian McManus, who both had cards of 38 points.
Bruce Lidbury's 37 points won him fourth placing.
Nearest the pins were won by Peter Garn on the 4th hole.
Peter Nikolic won the 6th and Graeme Sindel the 7th.
