At about 4:50pm this afternoon crews from Fire and Rescue NSW Station 217 Batemans Bay were called to a MVA on the Princces Highway between Moruya and Batemans Bay with persons trapped and multiple injuries
On arrival they were confronted with 2 vehicles with ambulance officers in the process of releasing the driver of one of the vehicles.
This driver was then transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle had already been transported prior to the crew's arrival.
ABC South East NSW reports that a New South Wales ambulance spokeswoman said a 35-year-old woman was trapped in her car for a short while before crews managed to free her. She sustained neck and back pain.
Another woman believed to be in her early 50s and her 5-year-old child were also involved in the crash...the child sustained facial bruising.
All are now believed to be in a stable condition.
