This Saturday will see the celebration of the start of a new era for the Dromedary Hotel in Central Tilba. The new owners extend an invitation to join them this Saturday 30th June 5pm for their opening party. There will be music from local favourite Mike Ward from 6pm, and the widely acclaimed Kitchenboys of Central Tilba will be serving complimentary pork and lamb legs cooked on the spit from 5pm. The new owners are super excited saying “we will be welcoming friends and family from far and wide, and we are really looking forward to meeting you all. “ “We hope that you can join us to kick off the next stage of the Drom’s long history in style. “And don't forget to like us on Facebook to stay in touch.” “We’ve got a great team who are going to be extending a warm welcome to locals and tourists alike, 7 days a week, year-round.

“Warren Hadfield will be managing the pub with support from Wendy Corfield; both familiar faces around town. And new owners Jeremy and Susan have strong ties to the area: Jeremy’s Dad grew up in Tuross Head and he still has family up and down the south coast.

“As Maz and Mick hand over the reins, we will be focussed on protecting everything that’s great about the Drom, and improving those things that need a bit of work. The old girl has been going for 123 years and is showing a few signs of age, so please bear with us as we give her a bit of a spruce up in the months ahead.”

“We really appreciate all the support and enthusiasm we’ve been shown to date, before we even picked up the keys. Please come in and say g’day. The beer will be cold, the welcome will be warm, and the food amongst the best on the coast. You’ll be in great hands with Warren, Wendy and the team.
