Eurobodalla Photographic Club June meeting The Eurobodalla Photographic Club's June meeting was on Tuesday 26th. The competition subject was "Smoke/Mist" (projected) and there was plenty of Images for judge Kim Armstrong from Bega to go through. Kim studied a Diploma of Digital Photography and has been involved in photographing events such as air shows, truck shows weddings etc for many years. He enjoys all aspects of photography. Kim complemented members on the quality of the competition entries. He critiqued the entries and gave some really valuable hints on how photos could be improved or enhanced. After judging/critiquing the night's images, Kim gave a talk about the NIK Collection which is a software plugin for Lightroom, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, showing examples of what the software can do and how to use it. Members got spoiled again with home baked yummies in the break. After the break, Beth gave a demonstration of our revamped website, which includes a Forum facility, and also of our Facebook Page. Members Dave Kemp and Beth Westra both displayed some of their images. Dave Kemp showed some of the images he has been taking at Willinga Park's Gold Buckle Campdraft and Braidwood Rodeo. Dave spoke about how he had taken the photos and when where is the best time to get the best images of Rodeo type events. Beth displayed some before and after shots showing how they can be improved in Photoshop and also some really creative shots. Club photographic competition awards:
