Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay Bridge from Sunday for maintenance and servicing to be carried out on the bridge.
Work is scheduled for three nights between 8pm and 4am to reduce the impact on motorists, from Sunday 8 July to Tuesday 10 July, weather permitting.
Maintenance will be carried out to ensure the reliable operation of the bridge opening. This is to minimise incidents with the lift system and reduce delays for motorists and marine traffic.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey, with delays of up to 15 minutes expected as testing takes place.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
