Grants available for emergency services

From 1 July safety and emergency service organisations can apply for funding from Eurobodalla Shire Council to help with their operational costs.

Applications are sought every four years for the grants, which aim to recognise emergency organisations for their significant contribution to community safety and wellbeing.

Eligible organisations include Surf Life Saving Clubs, volunteer coastal patrol and rescue squads and helicopter services. Successful applicants receive an annual amount each financial year over the funding period.

Grants are dependent on available funding and applications are assessed on merit. Grantees are required to provide details of how the funding has provided services to the community.

Applications must be made online through Council’s online grants portal https://esc.smartygrants.com.au or for more information visit http://www.esc.nsw.gov.au/inside-council/council/grants.

Council has written to the shire’s emergency services organisations inviting them to apply. Applications close Sunday 30 September 2018.
