Seaside Scavenge‎ at Batemans Bay this Saturday July 7th



Come along to the Seaside Scavenge‎ at Batemans Bay this Saturday July 7th at Clyde Street Batemans Bay, near Innes Boatshed from 10am to 1:30pm

Trade in your trash for treasure, listen to the music, learn from the workshops, listen to the talks and maybe win a prize.

So you know exactly what's going down on Saturday:

10am - Acknowledgment of Country by Mayor Innes and registration to Scavenge opens

10.10am- Chloe Dadd Music

11am - Interview with Stacey Essential Earth - Life the Natural Way! THEN free BEEESwax wrap workshop!

11.10am - Jake and Jaden perform live

12pm - Bill from Nature Coast Marine Group talks plastic-free living AND how to get involved in the Bay

12.10pm - Josh Rawiri hits the stage

1pm - Anita talks local Boomerang Bags and BYO Bags, followed by local council reps and Carol College Greenies

1.10pm - Josh continues with the toe tapping tunes

1.30pm - Registration closes for litter cleanup

1.50pm - Litter tally announced

2pm - Scavenge wraps up

So come down from 10am-1.30pm to do the cleanup!

The Seaside Scavenge crew (below) will provide you with a bag and gloves once you register with them on the day. Don't forget to take photos and upload them onto their Facebook page with the location to go in the draw for prizes!


Nature Coast Marine Group will also be there to talk about plastic pollution, the marine environment and what they do in the local area.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
