Moruya and Tuross River
The Moruya bridge area is holding some large schools of fish including luderick, bream and perch. Fresh and live baits have worked for the luderick and bream. Paddle tail soft plastics and surface lures are working great for the Perch.
At the hole in the wall, if you can get your lure or bait past the pinkie snapper there are a few nice sized bream sitting under the school's.
Perch and bream are hanging around the oyster racks in Tuross with 80 mm bloodworm wrigglers and Atomic crank baits working best.
Some flathead have been caught up in the shallows around the four-ways using Gulp soft plastics particularly in pumpkin seed colour.
Rocks and Beaches
Off the rocks at South Heads and Bingi is fishing well for squid with the most popular colour jigs being red and pink this week.
Crayfish are still around the rocks at the moment and our cray pots have been catching plenty.
The break wall in Moruya is the place to go for some good salmon and tailor sessions. Pillies and gang hooks or Arma metals are both working well.
A little further south has seen several nice catches of groper and drummer off the rocks using crabs for bait.
Offshore
Plenty of table sized flathead are being caught drifting Windsock beach. Baits like pillies and squid have been working well.
The reefs at roughly 60 to 70 metres have been producing some good numbers of fish including snapper, nanygai and mowie.
The tuna are patchy out wide but good numbers of fish are still being caught.

Wyangala Dam
Hit & Miss!! Not the way I like to start a fishing report but that’s how it is at present at the dam. Fishing in winter can be hard work but can also be very rewarding if you fish the right way. The best way to fish the dam at this time of year is from the bank or in shallow water no more than 3 metres. Most fish will be in the shallows looking for the warmth through the day. Try using worms from the bank, this is by far your best bet. If you’re in a boat worms or grubs around the trees and rocky banks - the slower you can move the baits the better the results.
Pejar Dam
Very quiet. Pejar dams water level has dropped a good deal and therefore the fishing has shut down. The easterly weather didn't help things last weekend but that could all change this weekend with another nice weekend predicted. Try using a Hester jointed minnow or Tassie from the bank, these should find a cruising fish. If baits more your thing worms are by far your best choice.
Wollondilly River Good numbers of redfin in the lower parts of the river below Tefco, with most fish being caught on lures - the favoured being a red celta. Dropshoting close to the trees is the secret to larger fish - work the bait slowly and the action won’t be far away. Most parts of the river are fishing well but the favoured area is the lower parts from Victoria St Bridge down.
