Quota Club Narooma Student of the Year Quest applications now open


The Quota International Narooma Student of the Year Quest representing students living between Tuross Head to Bega is to be held on Tuesday, August 14th, at Club Narooma Eligible students are now invited to enter. Along with an opportunity to compete at the quest finals in Goulburn on September 8 the winner of the quest receives $200, a trophy and a certificate. . The runner-up receives a trophy, certificate and $100. The information package and nomination forms are available from the school administration staff or may be obtained by contacting Sue Fahey on 4476 8141. The Student of the Year Quest offers students experience in public speaking and targets grooming and presentation; citizenship; cultural and/or social participation; leadership potential and most importantly, knowledge of current affairs as well as public speaking. Nominations close on Friday, July 27th Quota Narooma does much for its local community In June that received a warm 'Thank You!' from Eurobodalla Riding for the Disabled Association for their very generous donation of hay to help to feed the RDA ponies over the winter. The surging price of hay was of considerable concern and the donation helped to make sure the horses were happy and well and ready for their much loved lessons each Wednesday.
