Heritage grants available for Eurobodalla property owners

Owners of heritage properties in Eurobodalla have two weeks left to apply for grants to help them restore their historical homes and bespoke buildings.

Eurobodalla Council has grants up to $5,000 available for projects that will enhance individual places, buildings and historic streetscapes and promote the appreciation of Eurobodalla’s history.

Applications close on Friday 3 August 2018 at 2pm. Successful applicants will need to contribute one dollar for every dollar provided by the grant, and the restoration work must be completed before May 2019.

Established by Eurobodalla Council with a funding contribution from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, Local Heritage Places Grants are offered every year to help local property owners preserve the region’s rich and remarkable heritage.

To find out more about the Local Places Heritage Grants guidelines and to apply, visit Council’s website www.esc.nsw.gov.au or phone Council’s Strategy and Heritage Planner on 02 4474 1324.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
