Bay bowling club goods up for auction

Equipment and furniture from Batemans Bay Bowling Club will come up for auction this week.

Eurobodalla Council has engaged experienced government auctioneer Grays Online to run the sale.

Items on offer include furniture, catering equipment, bar fixtures and fittings, as well as audio and lighting.

Objects of local and sentimental value have already been removed by members of the local historical society and bowling clubs.

The catalogue will be available at graysonline.com from Tuesday 24 July.

The auction starts on Wednesday 25 July at 4pm and ends at 6.30pm on Tuesday 31 July. Inspections are available on Monday 30 July between 9am and 3pm. Items purchased may be collected between 9am and 3pm on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 August.

Council is handing the site over to NSW Roads and Maritime Services under a three-year lease agreement for use as the main construction compound for the Batemans Bay Bridge. RMS will demolish the building as part of the agreement.
