The Beagle Editor,
There has been continuous discussion relating to sea level rise in Eurobodalla.
This photo, taken on Sunday 29th July at the Surfside Beach commonly known as the dog beach shows considerable volumes of sand being blown off the beach and into the adjacent residential area.
Last year Council dropped many truckloads of sand on this beach that had been extracted from dredging at Hanging Rock. They called it beach nourishment. In part the replenishment was probably good for the residents but as it wasn't stabilised it is now moving to parts unknown.
I certainly don't have a great deal of knowledge regarding stabilisation but it cant be good that all of this sand leaving the beach and residents adjacent covered in sand.
