Short film festival | National Science Week

To celebrate National Science Week, the Old Courthouse Museum will be hosting a short film festival in August. Two different films, which focus on the environment, will be playing over the two days.
Wednesday's film Understorey, from film maker David Gallan, blends wildlife cinematography with archival footage to share a story of the creation of the South East Forest National Parks.The film will run for 40 minutes, and will be followed by a floor talk by National Parks member Mike Thompson.
There will be several short films playing on Thursday, including How Fungi Made Our World, Astroturf and Kcloc. These award-winning films explore different aspects of Earth, including creation, space and time.
