Lions BBay supporting Need for Feed

Lions of Batemans Bay put in six hours today of solid BBQing at Bunnings selling over 220 sausage sandwiches to raise funds for drought affected farmers. Head chef, David Wallace, said that the the generosity of people was extraordinary where a $2.50 sausage might be paid for with a $10 note with the instruction to "keep the change" "A person from Harden just give us a $100 and didn't want a feed." David told The Beagle. The Batemans Bay Lion's Club will be returning to Bunnings over the coming weeks so keep an eye out for them. Their sausages are worth every cent as well. Cooked to perfection.
