Your Tackle World Moruya Fishing report for August 3rd

Your up to date fishing report compliments of Tackle World Moruya Moruya and Tuross River The hole in the wall at Moruya has fished reasonably well for bream on a run out tide. The most successful anglers are using ultra light 3 and 4lb Fluoro carbon leaders. Baits like tuna fillets are working well. For the lure fisherman, The new Jackson range of bottom magic sinking lures are working great in the deeper water. Luderick have been seen schooling around the bridge pylons on the northern side of Moruya bridge. The same area is holding some nice bream and estuary perch also. Fresh baits like nippers should catch you a few. Plenty of tailor are still being caught towards the front of the Tuross system and they have not been fussy when it comes to lures. Most soft plastics and hard bodied lures are working with a fast retrieve. Turlinjah oyster leases are holding some nice bream. Both soft plastics and hard bodied lures are working great! The standouts being Jackson Athletes for the hards and the new Jackson tiny squid for the softs. Rocks and Beaches Pedro Point beach has been fishing great this past week with some very nice salmon, tailor and bream caught using both lures and bait. Arma metal slices and pillies have been getting the salmon and tailor, beach worms are working well for the bream.Drummer and the odd groper are still coming off the rocks at Moruya Heads and Binji using peeled prawns, crabs and cunji for bait. Offshore Due to the unforseen weather conditions we do not have any offshore reports this week.We have some exciting new product in-store now including the new Shimano Curado DC, a huge range of Daiwa double clutch lures and a new range of Jackson lures, and much more in the coming weeks. Tight lines my friends and remember “every day’s a good day for fishing … “ Team Tackle World Moruya
