The Festival of Open Minds has been inspired by a regional community that values shared conversation, personal reflection, the wisdom of experience, and FUN!
A dynamic program of speakers has been assembled for September 1 at the Bega Civic Centre, a TEDx style event that will have people talking
The broad festival theme is ‘change’:
Catherine McGregor will share her story of gender transformation
Hugh Mackay will give us a head start on Australia’s future
Gabbie Stroud wants better for our children’s education
Sussan Ley and Linda Burney will share their perspective as Federal MP’s
Dr Leeanda Wilton will reflect on 40 years of IVF
Plus a host of stellar local speakers will add a regional flavour and relevance that will inspire and ‘open your mind’.

The Festival of Open Minds pulls together national and local ideas with the aim of strengthening regional communities and providing an opportunity normally only available via a toll way or airport check in lounge.
