All walks begin at 11am sharp and last 1 to 1½ hours, or less, depending on one's ability. Afterwards enjoy a BYO picnic lunch together. Bring a chair/seat to be comfortable, good walking shoes, protection from the weather and a drink. Join the group, come walking, make new friends, and enjoy yourself. Please note that the walks are never cancelled due to the weather.

The meeting place today is the parking area at the end of Newth Place, Wimbie Beach. This will be a beach walk along Wimbie Beach, Surf Beach, and Denhams Beach, then return.

From Surf Beach shops direction turn left off Beach Road into Newth Place IMMEDIATELY BEFORE the roundabout at George Bass Drive.

From George Bass Drive (north or south) turn into Beach Road off the Roundabout and IMMEDIATELY take the right-hand slip lane to turn right into Newth Place.

12 SEPTEMBER MOGO OVAL—BUSH WALK UP SHORT STREET

Just south of Mogo village turn off the Princes Highway into Buckenbowra Road, then right into Park St and left into Queen St to the Mogo Oval. The walk will be along Park and Veitch Streets over Mogo Creek to Short Street and along Short Street into the Mogo State Forest and return.

19 SEPTEMBER MORUYA: NORTH HEAD DRIVE PICNIC AREA—RYANS CREEK

Meet at the picnic area in North Head Drive just off the Princes Highway at the northern end of the Moruya River Bridge. The walk will be over the bridge, past the swimming pool, and continue along the river to where Ryans Creek meets the river. From there we will follow the road through Riverside Park, and then back to the picnic area for lunch.

Others will be enjoying an overnight Bus Trip to Merimbula on 19 & 20 September.

26 SEPTEMBER TUROSS HEAD: TUROSS BOATSHED—WALK AROUND AREA

This week meet at the Tuross Boatshed & Cafe. To get there; turn off the Princes Highway into Hector McWilliam Drive. Follow Hector McWilliam Drive for about 5 km to the T-junction "GIVE WAY" sign, turn right, and then turn into the second road on the right, Trafalgar Road. Follow Trafalgar Road to the parking area near the Boatshed, drive through the parking area to the road down to the waterside where cars will be parked. From there, the walk will be around the area, including Chatham Park, returning to the picnic area for lunch. Fish & chips perhaps? A lunch suggestion is to pre-order your fish & chips, indicate the time of your return and collect at the end of the walk.
