Moruya High School Robotics Team take on the Big Smoke

The Moruya High School Robotics Team ventured off to Sydney over the weekend to take on the "Big City" teams. The team came 5th overall. A great result. The team would like to extend their thanks to Ernie from Rixon's Buses for getting them there and back safely Bondi Beachouse YHA for looking after them the Team at AIT - Academy of Information Technology for allowing them to practice their VR skills Des Saunders and the team at WiseTech Global for showing the Moruya High team around, interacting with the team and their robots and the hotdog lunch Google in Pyrmont for the tour and question and answer time. A special thanks goes to the two teachers whose dedication and guidance in helping the students see "what opportunities are out there" is fantastic, Cathie Willing and Will Douglas - thanks for the laughs, conversations, and your organising skills to get us there.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
