New Mulloway rules NOW LAW

The Recreational Fishing Alliance of NSW advise that last Friday saw the gazettal of the new Mulloway Rules for the catching, landing and keeping these fish across NSW, thus becoming law on the 1st September 2018 as Fisheries had previously advised.

They advise that recreational fishers must not take or be in possession of more than 1 mulloway (Argyrosomus japonicus) on each day.

"Recreational Fishers are advised the catch and in your possession limit is ONE FISH ONLY, in YOUR POSSESSION basically means anywhere from your house or holiday van, to your car or boat, or when you are home or out fishing, and would probably cover any fish kept in a live well or esky on a boat, purchased from any registered NSW commercial fisher or fish monger, or in a home aquarium.

"So keep any proof of purchase readily on hand, just in case."
