Tuross Head Country Club men's golf stableford competition held last Saturday resulted in a win for well known club golfer
Ian Lawson with a round of 39 points.
Peter Johnston filled second placing with 37 points ahead of Peter Garn, David Bray and Brenden Taylor who all finished on 35 points.
Nearest the pins were won by A grade player Colin Houghton on the 4th hole with 2.15m.
Arron Monopoli was best on the 6th with 2.52 m and Peter Duggan was closest on the 7th with 4.08m.
B grade golfer Ian Lawsin won the 4th with 4.82m and Kevin Dukes the 7th with 8.20m.
C grade player Joe. Lambert was awarded the 4th hole with 5.87m. and Peter Duggan was the winner on the 6th with 4.08m.
Thursday's medley stableford competition was won by Peeter Garn with 38 points ahead of Trevor Jones 37, Ian Kingston and Colin houghton who both finisshed with 36 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Colin Houghton on the 4th hole, and Colin was also closest on the 6th.
Trevor Jones was the winner on the 7th hole.
Golfers are reminded that the Tuross Head Country Club Senior Open, an 18 hole stableford competition, is being held on Sunday September 23rd.
There will be awards for men and ladies overall winners together with A and B grade divisions and runner ups.
The format for the day will be a shotgun start at 8.30 am for 9am hit off.
