The Samaritans Purse organisers are gearing up for their 2018 fundraisers starting off with Operation Christmas Child and their beautiful filled shoe boxes that are traditionally sent to children in areas of poverty in the South Pacific region. This year will see the New South Wales boxes sent to the Philippines and Cambodia.
There are always costs associated with such projects and in this case the primary cost is postage so the Samaritans Purse organisers aim to meet these costs by some fundraisers. Dates to put into your diaries to support the Operation Christmas Child project
Christopher Robin, Special Fundraiser Movie afternoon Sunday 23 September Narooma Kinema 1.00 p.m. - film and afternoon tea $20 per head $20 will give you a great afternoon tea which follows Christopher Robin (did you love AA Milne’s Winnie the Poohand Now we are six?) Christopher Robin has grown upnow!! This is a film that is suitable for young and old.
