Spring into Art : 2018 Spring Exhibition and Art Sale

Creative Arts Batemans Bay Inc (CABBI) are holding their 2018 Spring Exhibition and Art Sale at the Catalina Country Club. The show will close at 4pm on Friday 5 October.

More flexible hours will see the exhibition run daily from 10am to 8pm with the exception of 1-3 October where it will open from 10am to 4pm.

This year the Chardonnay Room at the Catalina Country Club located on Beach Road will be the new venue.

Exhibition Convenor Laurie Phillips said “ The new location for this exhibition will provide a more intimate space for the artwork.”

The new venue also offers more flexibility with opening hours. Mrs Phillips said “The extended hours to 8.00pm means the exhibition is accessible to those members of the public having dinner at the club. Those people who work can now view the artwork after hours. Being school holidays, with the public holiday, we hope to attract not only locals but visitors to the area.”

Those who would like to meet the artists are invited to attend the Catalina Country Club at 2.00pm on Saturday 29 September where they can chat about the artwork.

“Spring is a great time to showcase new and exciting artwork by the CABBI Members in a new venue” Laureen said. “People coming along can make it a family outing, by having dinner or afternoon tea and then seeing the exhibition.”

Enquiries about the exhibition can be made to the Catalina Country Club on 44724386
