Arts Alive


School holiday classes at Art Central, 24 Church Street, Moruya, begin on Tuesday 2nd Oct until Thursday 11th Oct — all classes cost $5.00 per child per class with booking essential.

Classes include: Monday 8th, 10-12 noon, Aboriginal Art; Tuesday 2nd and 9th, 10-12 noon, Art with Nick; Thursday 11th, 10-12 noon, Paint & Draw with Keedah, and Friday 5th, 10-12 noon, Fun with Art. Contact Art Central on 44743123 or artcentral@artcentral.org.au

And don't forget Art Central's annual Art Exhibition, 12th to 21st October at Moruya Square! Artists may submit up to three entries; artworks need to be delivered to Art Central before 10th October.

A life in Art, an exhibition at Gallery Bodalla, 66a Princes Highway, Bodalla, from Saturday 29 September to Sunday 28 October (the opening on Saturday 29 September, by author Robert Macklin, starts at 3pm); otherwise gallery opening hours are Thursday to Sunday, 10.30am to 4pm. The community is invited to South Coast Pastel Society's colourful and creative exhibition at Batemans Bay Surf Club, George Bass Drive, Malua Bay, Saturday 29 September to Sunday 7 October, 10am to 4pm.
