Having recently relocated to the Eurobodalla, Scottish Australian artist, Ann Rogan will open her first solo exhibition in this area on October 5 at the SoArt Gallery, Narooma. This exhibition is a survey, of oil paintings and mixed media works created over the past five years and is diverse, ranging from small to very large canvases and whilst the work is often representational, is leaning more towards expressionism. Ann describes her artwork as non traditional and that she is not a signature artist in that she follows her intuition to lead her art making. Ann has said that often the subject to be painted lends itself to the idea of how it will be depicted.
