Granite Town this weekend !!!!

Moruya's Funky Little Festival is on again. The Granite Town committee is hosting a funk filled one day festival, on October 6th - 12 Noon - Midnight at Moruya Racecourse Emerging from the long running Moruya Jazz Festival, Granite Town is a community run event with a focus on bringing world class music to the beautiful South Coast of NSW. Moving to a new venue, the Moruya Racecourse was the perfect choice for a great festival in its new one day format. The racecourse, surrounded by forest, not far from the beach, with large covered areas, has a spacious grassy sloped festival ground so everyone has a good view of the stage. Granite Town is fun for young and old, with the aim to deliver a family friendly festival, offering a carefully selected lineup of the cream of Australia’s musicians. Expect funky brass sections, sweet soul music, a dash of reggae, fat beats, local talents, original compositions, and good time party pleasing sounds. Local acts including Kumera Patch, Third Ear, Ron ‘Callo’ Callaghan and The St Peters Anglican College Blues Band, roving performers, the inaugural Granite Town Record Fair, and all the fabulous food trucks, fine beverages, kids activities and good times that Granite Town regulars have come to expect. Foodies will be catered for with Cut’N’Run pizza, Bavarian sausages, Clyde River oysters, Indonesian yums and Broulee (and Canberra's) Lao Thai ‘Two Sisters on Wheels’ caravan. This year will also see sponsors Capital Brewing, from Canberra, with their craft beers available. Tickets HERE
