Christine has not been a long time painter, but will be the Featured Artist at The Gallery, Mogo for the month of October. Christine is very much an experimental artist and says, “I'll have a go at any thing that catches my eye”!
Like so many artists, she had talent that went unexplored in the quest to earn a living in the corporate world as a secretary. After being coerced into going sketching with a friend, she rediscovered her interest in art and has since attended numerous workshops. Chris loves outdoor painting, she is a regular with CABBI's “All Weather Artists”, and makes the comment “You can't be fussy and must be quick”.
While Chris is a “realistic artist”, she loves the effects (and surprises) from ink and paint pours. Christine's latest body of works can be seen at The Gallery , Mogo until October 23.
