Five more homeless men have been assimilated back into the local community with help from a local real estate agent and Hope House.
LJ Hooker Batemans Bay are working with Hope House, the homeless shelter for men in Batemans Bay, and have recently found rental accommodation for five former Hope House residents. LJ Hooker have committed to doing their part to help those homeless men who for one reason or another have fallen on hard times.
The manager of Hope House Shirley Diskon says the support of LJ Hooker in Batemans Bay has been a tremendous help in getting these fellows back into society.
In the meantime two more residents are on the verge of taking giant steps with one being employed part time as a kitchen hand in a local takeaway store and another going through the interview process with a view to work on the new Batemans Bay bridge construction team.
Community life inc vice President Pete Diskon says all of this is positive news for the team at Hope House who are achieving excellent results thanks to the support of the Manager and the Hope House team and local employers who are prepared to give the guys a chance.
