Three new police officers to Narooma

South Coast Police District is soon to have three new police officers in the Narooma sector.

Two officers will be stationed at Narooma over the coming month, with a senior constable starting on 14th October 2018 and an additional sergeant in the near future.

A further officer will commence at Bermagui on 11 November 2018.

Chief Inspector Peter Volf, from Bega is pleased to have the additional staff following the NSW Police Force reengineering process which commenced with the amalgamation of Shoalhaven and the Far South Coast Local Area Commands in January 2018.

“Our focus is to provide more frontline police for our local communities. These new officers will significantly boost our current staff levels and allow greater coverage for the sectors” Chief Inspector Volf said.
