Marine Rescue Batemans Bay: there for you 24/7

Late last night Marine Rescue Batemans Bay received a call for help from the skipper of a runabout 1km west of the Clyde River Bridge. The five metre boat had a mechanical problem.

The rescue vessel Batemans 20 crewed by Matthew Mason, John Clements and Sandra Simmonds was activated.

The volunteer crew towed the runabout to a wharf at Hanging Rock.

David Murn was the Radio Operator at the base. Boaters are reminded to use their marine radio or phone to call 000 in an emergency.
