Non-responsiveness - Ignorance or Arrogance?

The Beagle Editor,

It's amazing that we rarely hear comments from our elected representatives here, or in other media, when subjects raised deserve to be clarified or, in the case of some pretty outlandish ones, clarified or denied for the sake of an accurate public record. The same thing could be said for senior managers who should also be wishing for the true facts to be known. So, in the absence of the truth being made known, it must be known that it is only human nature to suspect the worst. It follows then, that such non-responsiveness to issues being discussed in the community will be perceived as being ignorance or arrogance. Councillors and council management do read and/or receive information about what is appearing in the media so the word "ignorance" in the above sense does not mean "unaware". If these opinions are misguided, please respond

Jeff de Jagger Coila

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
