The Beagle extends to its readers an invitation to be in the draw to win a DOUBLE PASS to Orava Quartet performing at St Bernard’s Church at Batehaven Sun 28th October

The South Coast Music Society concludes its 2018 programme of wonderful concerts with the Orava Quartet, which will be performing at St Bernard’s Church at Batehaven on Sunday 28 October at 3.00 p.m.

The Quartet will bring its vitality to the classics of the string quartet repertoire, in Czech Fantasy, with Haydn’s ‘Lobkowitz’ quartet, dedicated to the Czech Duke of Roudnice, and compatriot composer, and Schulhoff’s five witty pieces for string quartet. In addition, in its finale to mark the centenary of Debussy’s passing, Orava Quartet will present his string quartet in G minor.
