Saturday, 20th October saw Batemans Bay Rugby Club host the second round of the Brumbies Viva 7's Rugby for Youth girls and women's teams.
Organisers said of the event, "What a day!! Huge crowd on hand and although a few games were called off due to the lightning, the play was skilful and hard 💪
"Thanks to all the volunteers for all your efforts, couldn’t do it without you. 🙌
"U14s came 2nd after an unexpected loss. The team are very talented and will learn from the day. 👊
U16s came 2nd and went down in the final in what was a nail biter. Illawarra are a very organised representative team, and for our girls to match them is huge. 🤙🏽
"U18s were the surprise packet. First time together, and going undefeated and finishing first for the day 👌
"The women’s played 2 hard games against a barbarians team, and the enthusiasm and skill we hope will continue into the Wagga tournament where they will be a force.
"Go the Boars 🐗 !!!"
