There are places are still available for this weekend's The SAGE Project workshop.
Learn how to germinate and raise seedlings from local seedling expert Phil Timms.
At this workshop, you’ll get an idea of what to plant and when in this area, as well as how to tackle problems if they occur.
You will learn how to sow seeds, take cuttings, practice plant division and layering. It will be an informal, hands-on session with questions answered as they arise throughout the day.
Phil will also talk about building and maintaining soil fertility through crop rotation, compost making and using chickens to build soil fertility (turning waste organic matter back into a valuable resource). Ideas on potting mixes will also be covered, including what to use in different circumstances and how to make your own mix.
$50 (SAGE Member) | $65 (Non-SAGE Member)

NOTE: you can become a SAGE member by joining online now, or in person on the day of the workshop.
