Long Beach Maloneys turn it PINK raising $7100


The Long Beach Maloneys folk hosted a very successful Pink Drinks event last Friday which raised from raffles, sales and auction $1,658 on the evening! In all the Pinking up of Long Beach raised $7100

The event ends a fabulous, fun filled, month long campaign to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation

Jo Splithof and Judy Rafferty and her band of helpers would like to thank all the sponsors for their generosity, namely (in alphabetical order): Chain Bay Sewcraft, Cut N’Run, Go Vita, Haven Quality Meats, K-Mart, Maloneys Beach Café, Nina Poulton, Perry Street Cinemas, Priceline, Scented Candles by Claudia, Serts Taste of Asia, Woolworths.

The winners were: 1st Pink Female Dress: Jo (Priceline) 1st Pink Male Dress: Peter (Serts Taste of Asia) 1st Pink Child Dress: Kate (Perry Cinemas & Cut N'Run) 1st Pink Pet Dress: Bella (Maloneys Beach Cafe) Winner of the raffle: Nina (Chain Bay Sewcraft) 1st prize Boule competition: Antoinette (Go Vita) 2nd prize Boule competition: Kathy (Perry Cinemas & Cut N'Run) ....and many highest bid winners at the auction!



NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
